Band History

The Wild Horses Band was established in 1984 and in the past 36 years the band has had many talented members.   The current trio (Larry, Kevin, and Ron) have been involved with the band in one way or another throughout it's history.

Originally the band focused on country music as its bread and butter and played the five state area 300+ nights a year.   This continued for 12 years and during that time the band was fortunate enough to have worked with some of the industries biggest names.  These would include (The Pirates of the Mississippi, Pam Tillis and Lionel Cartwright) to mention a few. The band also played such venues as We Fest, The Taste of Minnesota and The Roy Wilkins Auditorium.

After that the band has slowed down to weekends and concentrated on playing a wide variety of music catering to a dance crowd.   The band stopped working a few years before Covid, but recently has been rehearsing and is ready to hit the trail once again.

The Wild Horses Band is sure to strike your musical nerve whether it be classic country, classic rock, southern rock, or new rock.  We hope to see you at a show real soon.
